Q: What is the preferred file type when sending a document?

A: PDF files have the best compatability. In order to better serve you, pdf files are preferred. Be sure that all your linked photos/logos in your document are high resolution (at least 300 dpi) for best print quality. It is never a good idea to download an image from the web unless you are searching for a "large" image in the search "tools" when you are googling for images.

If your file isn't a vector, we highly recommend the resolution of the file be at least 300 dpi (dots per inch) so your image won't print pixelated. It is never a good idea to download an image from the web unless you are searching for a "large" image in the search "tools" when you are googling for images.

Q: How do I save a file properly that bleeds (prints to the edge)?

A: For this, you should save the PDF to include cropmarks and bleeds. Otherwise, the outcome of your print job may not be as expected. Sometimes we can adjust your document to bleed if your text is not already too close to the edge for an additional fee.

Q: How many pages should my file be for a saddle stitched booklet?

A: So there are no blank pages in your booklet, any number of pages that is a multiple of 4 will work. Example: your document should be 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, or 24 pages and so on.
